A shared shortlist for tours, then each parent ranks the schools privately, and the two rankings are combined by a rule you both can see.

Open this page from your private link.
Each parent has their own private link. If you lost yours, ask for a new invite. The site will show that your link was replaced.
That invite didn't work.
Save your private link
This link was just created on your device, and only you have it. Not even the person who runs this site can see it. Save it (in your notes or password manager) so you can open the list on another phone or computer. If you lose it, you'll need a new invite.

Schools we're considering
A ranking has been submitted, so schools can't be added or removed now. Tour details and notes can still change. To change the list, use "Start over" on the "Combined list" tab.

How the combined list is made
One shared shortlist. Either parent can add schools and tour notes. Every school on the list goes on both rankings.
Each parent ranks every school, privately. Your draft stays on your own device until you submit it.
You submit it. Once submitted, you can't change it. Nobody can see it, including the other parent, until you've both submitted.
When you've both submitted, both rankings appear side by side, showing where you agree and where you differ.
Scores are added. A school's score is Lee's rank plus Amber's rank. The lowest score goes first, so schools you both like rise to the top.
Ties alternate. A coin is flipped using a random number from each ranking, so neither parent controls it. The winner's ranking settles the first tie, the other parent's settles the next, and so on.
Big gaps are flagged. If you ranked a school 3 or more places apart, it's marked to talk about.
Both agree to finish. The list is final only when each parent taps "I agree" on the same order. Either parent can start over to redo it, and the site shows that it happened.
Why order matters: in MySchools, listing more schools never hurts, and schools never see your order. The order only decides which school Sevi is matched to if she gets into more than one.
Why neither of you can peek, including Lee, who runs this site
Only you can use your link. It was created on your own device. Nobody else can sign in as you. If your link were ever replaced, your old one would stop working and the page would say so.
Your ranking is scrambled on your device before it's sent. Only your private link can unscramble it. Even the person who runs the site can't read it.
Nothing is shown until you've both submitted. By then neither ranking can change, so seeing one can't affect the other.
For extra peace of mind, submit second. When the other parent submits, the site gives their ranking a receipt code. Paste that code into OurFamilyWizard before you submit yours. Their ranking can't be changed later without the code changing too, so you'll know it's the same one. This protects you even if the site itself were ever changed.
The one thing to watch for. If anyone presses "Start over" after you've submitted, the site shows it to both of you. Ask why before you rank again.
